4 - 7 Years Old
An introduction to representational drawing geared to the attention span and fine motor coordination of a 4 to 7 year old. Students will develop their ability to recognize the elements of shape and learn how to translate every day objects on to paper. This class will also offer academic information on subjects such as literature, geography, math, science & more.

8 - 12 Years Old
This 1 1/2 hour class is geared for the attention span and motor coordination of an 8 to 12 years old. Students will learn the Monart drawing method and how to use the method to create drawings from a variety of realistic, abstract, and expressionistic styles. Lessons will introduce them to inspirations from 2Dimensional graphic materials, 3Dimensional objects, the human form, perspective, and proportion. This class will also offer academic information on subjects such as literature, geography, math, science & more.

Preschool Arts
3.5 - 4.5 Years
A class for 3 and 4 year olds that encourages visual perception and eye hand coordination skills. Students will learn the visual recognition of the 5 Elements of Shape and how to use them in the recognition of the Alphabet, the Numbering system, the Drawing of their own name, and simplistic drawings of creatures from nature.

Starter Arts I
5 - 7 Years Old
Introduction to representational drawing directed to the attention span and motor coordination of the 5-7 year olds. The students are guided through a step-by-step lesson of an object, animal, or character. The class draws each element of shape as the teacher describes them. They are asked to identify each element of shape before they begin drawing. The instruction also includes guidance about length, placement, distance between elements, and how the shapes interact with each other. Children master the ability to recognize the 5 Basic Elements of Shape and combine them to create drawings.

Starter Arts II
5 - 7 Years Old
A class for 6-7 year olds who have mastered the ability to recognize the elements of shape and have achieved a skill level that allows them to make independent choices in composition and background ideas. Geared for the student who has learned to focus and concentrate for the one hour class, without an undue need for individual attention.

Basic Arts I
7- 9 Years Old
As the student matures in their abilities, they can move up to Basic Art classes. Here the students move through the instructions as in the Getting Ready class, but there are added details, requiring more dexterity and thinking skills. When a child is able to draw independently, a test drawing is done to show their level of ability. It is then that they may move up to Intermediate classes.

Basic Arts II
7- 9 Years Old
A class for 8-9 year olds who have mastered the ability to make independent choices in the interpretation of the lesson, show a confidence in their drawing skills, and can color in with control. Geared for the student who has learned to focus and concentrate for the one hour class and shows the ability to put effort into their work.

Drawing Fundamentals I
9-14 Years Old

The Drawing Fundamentals class is for ages 9-teen-15yrs After learning the basics, students are able to work more independently and develop their own personal style. Using different mediums, such as graphite, pastels, color pencils and watercolor, emphasis is on techniques and creative approaches to their art.

Drawing Fundamentals II
9-15 Years old
A class for 9-15 year olds who have achieved the skill level of working independently on projects, rarely needing a step by step demonstration by the teacher. Geared for the student who has mastered the basic skills in line, shape, proportion, perspective, and the ability to create volume through light logic, using 3 dimensional objects. Can stay focused and concentrated for a 1 1/2 hour class and is confident enough to explore various subject matter.

Acrylic painting - Junior
5- 8 years old
This oil painting course will be designed to work with young children and introduce them to this media. A step by step guide to learn this art under the guidance of our teacher.

Animation Drawing
8 – 15 years old
Children are taught how to breakdown and draw popular animated characters, be it Pokemon, Bugs Bunny or your favourite characters. This course incorporates the basic drawing skills of student and catering to the inner passion of our children.

Clay Art
8 – 15 years old
In this oil painting course students will learn new technique of clay art, students will be exposed to do 2d objects and 3d objects with clay and stick on to the canvas board and paint it. Step by step guide to make clay and painting.

Pallet knife Art
8 – 15 years old
Children will complete your own Impressionistic Master Piece during using unique pallet knife technique. Learn how to paint with a knife, how to prepare your canvas, how to choose your colour pallet and your subject, colour theory and composition basics.

Mom & Tot Class
8 – 15 years old
Amazearts studio is excited to announce the start of our Mom & tot classes! Once in a month, we will schedule a one hour class designed for mothers to bring the childrens, ages 6mo-5yrs, for an interactive painting! The canvas size will typically be 9”X12”, unless otherwise noted. The Studio will have all the necessary supplies for the project, all you need to bring is yourself and your little one! These classes create a wonderful, lasting memory for you and your child and we hope you are able to join us soon!!
